| NS-098 Loch Ness is a dark, opaque, sparkly, dark green that can be used in virtually any application. Best if worked in a neutral-to-oxidizing flame to achieve optimum results. Extended annealing tends to bring out a golden hue in this color. These frits and powders have been formulated for use with Pyrex®, Duran®, Kimax®, Northstar® or any other glass with a similar coefficient of thermal expansion (33). Using frits and powders provide the hot glass artist with a means of adding color and/or texture to a piece quickly and easily.
This frit grain size is Small, approximately .024 inches or .6096 mm.
