Instructor Patty Gray shares a wealth of kiln working techniques in this five day workshop.
Patty will demonstrate numerous glass processes including combing, making and applying pattern bars, deep-work/open-faced casting, use of stringers, mica, powders and more -- you will be encouraged to experiment with, and apply your own style to, all of these techniques.
Patty will demonstrate stringer and cane-pulling techniques using vitrograph equipment and a glory hole. She will teach you several cold-working/finishing techniques to complete your fused glass work. Don’t miss this action-packed class.
Note: hands-on fusing experience is required. Students are asked to bring a glass cutter, safety glasses, breaking pliers, dust mask and a ruler. If you request that your work be rolled up using the glory hole, there will be an additional $25 charged at that time.
Class registration is limited.
